In June, the world comes to Trenton during our festival of world cinema! See thought-provoking, poignant, and funny stories — both true and fiction — that cross cultures and boundaries.

Fiction films include a Kafka-esque Spanish comedy about a man who takes on the Catholic Church (Apostate), a contemporary ghost story set in Afghanistan (Neither Heaven Nor Earth), and a biopic about an Indian professor suspended for being gay (Aligarh). Documentaries tackle the issues of immigration in Europe (Lampedusa in Winter) and toxic mining in China (Behemoth).

We also hope you’ll join us for a special double feature (La Belle at the Movies and Short Stay) that includes a reception and a Q&A with our festival curator and NJ filmmaker Ted Fendt!

The World Makes, Trenton Screens.

Free tickets are available for patrons with Passport memberships.
