Readings & Workshops

Passage produces new plays through a development process that often requires playwrights to hear their work acted out in front of an audience. These readings, with limited rehearsals, often provide audience members with a satisfying, occasionally magical, theatrical experience.

Passage artistic staff will sometimes stage a special reading for a play and playwright under consideration for a future mainstage production. The PlayLab also schedules public readings from time to time to support its authors.
