Play Lab: Serving the Community of Writers in the Delaware Valley
The Passage Theatre Play Lab is a group of New Jersey writers who meet regularly throughout the year under the auspices of Passage Theatre to read and critique each others’ work. These meetings lead to a public festival of readings or one acts at Passage Theatre’s Mill Hill Playhouse, which gives the writers a chance to see the work they’ve been developing throughout the year realized in front of a live audience.
Passage patrons have seen the work of Lab members on the mainstage with David Lee White’s Blood: A Comedy (2009), Slippery as Sin (2012), James J. Christy’s Love and Communication (2010), and R.N. Sandberg’s Roundelay (2013).
